QUIC collaborated with Queen’s University, CREO, and OTD to come together for the common goal of helping students in need by supporting, developing, and introducing a new admissions bursary of $15,000 for new Queen’s students to apply to.

QUIC runs an official Movember campaign each November to raise money and awareness for men’s mental health issues. We have raised $3,000+ each year through our campaigns.

We annually co-host a private equity panel consisting of speakers from top-tier private equity firms including Altas, Blackstone, Brookfield, Imperial, and RedBird Capital Partners.

We annually co-host an intercollegiate stock pitch competition with a $3,000 prize pool featuring judges and speakers from hedge funds including Tiger Global, Sequoia Capital Global Equities, Cantillon Capital, Alua Capital, and Melvin Capital. Past competitors include students from Harvard University, The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, University of California, Berkeley, and more.

QUIC’s Credit Investing Panel featured a discussion around career advice, investing strategies, and recruiting opportunities in the current landscape led by senior professionals from The Carlyle Group, BC Partners and GSO Capital Partners (Blackstone).

Having established this event in 2021, QUIC has collaborated on a Diversity in Finance Panel featuring a discussion with diverse senior professionals from TD Asset Management, Oxford Properties Group, and OMERS Private Equity.

Established in 2019, QUIC regularly collaborates with professionals at Toronto-based Burgundy Asset Management to run a series of lessons on the basics of investing and finance for women in the Smith School of Business.

To better prepare and inform first-year students about the world of finance, QUIC hosts a multi-session, semester-long membership program led by various members of QUIC to teach the core concepts of finance industry dynamics, investing, and financial modelling.

Each year, QUIC collaborates with Queen University’s premier consulting organization, CREO Solutions, to run an open-forum panel featuring students entering the investment banking and consulting fields.
