WALID HERZALLAH

Analyst - Industrials Sector

Walid is in his second year in the Queen’s Commerce program. He is currently an Analyst in the Industrials sector for QUIC.

This summer, he completed an internship at Hubdoc, a Toronto-based SaaS startup that develops automation software for accountants and bookkeepers. Last summer, he developed his coding skillset to include HTML and CSS under the guidance of industry professionals at BrainStation Academy.

At Queen’s, Walid is a Consultant for CREO Solutions, a student-run consultancy that solves business problems for organizations across Canada. He is also a Judges and Alumni Coordinator for the Inter-Collegiate Business Competition (I.C.B.C.), Canada’s oldest and most prestigious undergraduate case competition.

Walid attended Glenforest Secondary School in Mississauga, Ontario where he completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma program and received the Loran Finalist Award for demonstrating character, leadership, and service in his extra-curricular involvement. During his senior year, he was also the Chairperson of the Peel Red Cross Youth Group and led a team of over 40 members in raising $13,000 for the Syrian Crisis Refugee Fund. His interests include international affairs, playing soccer, and discovering new music.
