SIMON REZENEPortfolio Manager - Cash Yield Sector
Simon is in his third year in the Queen’s Commerce program. He is currently the Portfolio Manager of Cash Yield. Previously, he was an analyst within the Consumers & Healthcare sector.
This summer, Simon completed a 15-week internship at Burgundy Asset Management. Previously, Simon completed an internship with the Qualifications Evaluation Council of Ontario.
At Queen’s, Simon is also the VP of Investments for the Queen’s Social Investment Initiative (QS2I), a ~$40,000 fund partaking in structuring micro finance transactions with soft repayments to social entrepreneurs on behalf of Queen’s University.
Simon attended St. Elizabeth Catholic High School in Thornhill, Ontario where he was elected to be the Grade 12 Representative for Student Council. Also, Simon served as a Senior Peer Minister in his last two years at St. Elizabeth, leading a youth-based organization that ran regular student activities and community-based initiatives. Throughout his four years, Simon was very involved in the school’s athletic program, playing on the varsity soccer, basketball and table tennis teams.
