Chief Investment Officer

Lauren is in her fourth year in the Queen’s Commerce program this fall. She is currently the Chief Investment Officer on QUIC. Previously, she served as a Portfolio Manager for the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector.

This past summer, she completed a 9-week internship in the Investment Banking Division of Credit Suisse in Toronto. After graduation, she will be returning to the group full-time. This past summer, she completed a 4-month internship in the Private Equity Division of Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan in the Consumer, Retail & Healthcare group.

At Queen’s, Lauren is the Delegates Coordinator for the Queen’s Finance Association Conference, having previously been the Speakers and Prospectus Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator and Freshman Representative. Previously she has held other positions such as Executive Director of Industry on the Queen’s Technology and Media Association, Outreach Commissioner within the Queen’s Commerce Society, and Frosh Orientation Leader.

Lauren attended Appleby College in Oakville, Ontario, where she received the Governor General’s Academic Medal for ranking first in her class. Outside of academics, she enjoys travelling, reading, and running. During the winter semester of 2016, she completed an international semester abroad at Sciences Po in Paris, France in the Master of Economics and Business.
