JOSHUA WINEChief Strategy Officer
Josh will be entering his fourth year in the Queen’s Commerce program this fall. He is currently the Chief Strategy Officer for QUIC. Previously, he was a Portfolio Manager and an Analyst for the Industrials sector.
This summer, he will be working in San Francisco for the TMT group in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs. Previously, he worked in the Investments Department at Gluskin Sheff + Associates.
At Queen’s, Josh is a Senior Director in the Middle–‐East Africa Region for Queen’s Global Markets (QGM), a student–‐run think tank that seeks to analyze and forecast macroeconomic and political trends across the world. Previously, he was a writing team member for the Queen’s Business Review and published an article about mobile money in the Spring 2014 Issue. Josh has led exam tutorials for the first year Commerce accounting course and spends time teaching at a local after–‐school program.
Josh attended Tanenbaum CHAT High School in Toronto, Ontario, where he graduated with honours as class Valedictorian. At CHAT, he was the President of his high–‐school DECA chapter and worked to coordinate his school’s first, now annual, Business Leadership Conference. He enjoys baseball, politics, and travelling to experience different cultures. Josh recently completed an academic exchange at the National University of Singapore.
