Portfolio Manager - Financial Institutions Sector

David is in his fourth year in the Queen’s Commerce program. He is a Portfolio Manager for the Financial Institutions Group. Previously, he was an Analyst within the sector.

This summer, he completed an internship at Goldman Sachs in their San Francisco office, working with the West Region Advisory group within the Investment Banking Division. After graduation, David will be returning full-time to Goldman Sachs. Previously, he worked as a Summer Analyst at Mackenzie Investments within the Investment Management Department.

At Queen’s, David is the Chapter Head for the Association of Canadian Intercollegiate Investment Clubs (ACIIC). After winning the 2015 ACIIC Seeking Alpha Stock Pitch Competition, he was invited to present his stock pitch to an institutional investment research firm in Stamford, Connecticut. Previously, he also worked with the Queen’s Technology and Media Association.

David attended Kingston Collegiate and Vocational Institute in Kingston, Ontario, where he started for the football team and competed internationally in business case competitions. Outside of school, he enjoys travelling and following the National Football League. David recently completed a semester abroad at Maastricht University, School of Business and Economics.
