CARMEN CHENPortfolio Manager - Metals & Mining Sector
Carmen is in her fourth year in the Queen’s Commerce program. She is currently a Portfolio Manager in the Metals & Mining sector. Previously, she served as the Analyst for the Metals & Mining sector.
This summer, she completed an internship in the Relationship Investments group at the CPP Investment Board in Toronto, where she will be returning full-time in September. Previously, she worked as a rotational analyst at Dynamic Funds, working primarily with the North American Value Team in the Healthcare sector.
At Queen’s, she is a competitor on the Queen’s Case Competition Union, representing the Smith School of Business at various national and international case competitions. She is also the Head Manager at the Student Computing Centre (previously the Techplex), the student-run print and technology centre.
Carmen attended Markham District High School in Markham, Ontario, where she was highly involved in the music department, Classics program, and various community volunteer initiatives. Last winter, she completed an international semester abroad at Hong Kong University of Science & Technology.
