CAMERON SUCHARDAPortfolio Manager - Industrials Sector
Cameron is in his third year in the Queen’s Commerce program. He is currently a Portfolio Manager in the Industrials sector. Previously, he served as an Analyst for the Industrials team.
This summer, Cameron completed a 16-week internship at InstarAGF, a private equity group specializing in infrastructure investment. During the summer, he worked alongside the investments team, analysing potential acquisitions and assisting in the management of portfolio holdings. Over the summer, Cameron also completed a French language course to prepare for his academic exchange at Sciences Po in Paris, France during the 2017 winter semester.
At Queen’s, Cameron was voted by his peers to serve as the Commerce Class of 2018 Year President. He is also the Finance Director for the Queen’s Sports Industry Conference, managing all capital expenditure for Canada’s premier student-led sports business conference. Previously, Cameron was a Queen’s Commerce Orientation Week Leader, mentoring and supporting incoming students.
Cameron attended Humberside Collegiate Institute in Toronto, Ontario, where he received the Governor General’s Academic Medal for ranking first in his class as well as the Senior Male Athlete of the Year Award. Cameron was also President of the Humberside Athletic Council and was awarded the Candice Carroll Award for outstanding contributions to the school and surrounding community.
