Mo completed an exchange term in France in the winter of his third year. Born near Toronto, Mo attended Crescent School, where he was a Prefect, a House Captain, organized a charity AIDS relief concert, was the student president of a film festival, and participated in both athletics and the dramatic arts.

As Co-Chair of the Queen’s Commerce Initiative Abroad (Q’CIA), Mo led a group of 25 students on a volunteer excursion to Lima, Peru, where his team renovated and helped re-build two community centres in impoverished communities. He came to Queen’s in September 2008. Mo has served as the Logistics Coordinator for the Commerce Executive of Orientation (CEO), where he booked venues, procured materials, and created a detailed schedule for Commerce Orientation Week 2010, while helping to manage a budget of over $120,000. In addition to his current involvement as a portfolio manager in the TMT sector of QUIC, Mo is Chair of the Commerce Society Advisory Board, and has held positions with the Queen’s Leadership, Excellence, and Development Conference (QLEAD) and the Queen’s Conference on the Business Environment Today (Q’BET).

In 2011, Mo completed a summer internship within the Investment Banking Division of CIBC World Markets in Toronto, and is excited to be returning to the firm full-time in August.
