Cwas raised in Oakville, Ontario where he attended Appleby College. While at Appleby, Conor played on the varsity hockey, soccer and rugby teams while also serving as the Head Boy of Colley House. He received the W.D. Ross Award in recognition of his finishing first in his class and also received a community service award for his work with the Dignitas International Youth Group. Conor founded the Appleby College Investment Club with two peers in his final year in an effort to engage the student body in the world of investing.

Conor spent the winter of 2011 on exchange at Cass Business School at the City University of London, England. Since arriving at Queen’s in 2008, Conor has become involved in extra-curriculars including the Commerce Charity Cup (CCC), of which he is currently the Co-Chair. The CCC is a hockey tournament that brings eight of Canada’s largest business schools to Kingston to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society. Since inception, the CCC has raised over $70,000. Conor was also a member of the Queen’s Finance Association Conference (QFAC) executive in 2009.

In the summer of 2010, Conor was employed at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he sat on the institutional equity trading desk. This past summer, Conor completed an internship in the Investment Banking Division of TD Securities. After graduation, Conor will be joining Goldman Sachs in Toronto.
