Chief Investment Officer
From a young age, Matt was immersed in the world of sports. From 2004 to 2009, he played competitive football across Ontario at the wide receiver and running back positions. Along with sports, Matt has developed a strong sense of entrepreneurialism over the past five years. At the age of 16 he started his own local lawn care business. He has since been a co-founder of Start Something, Drop of Hope, and PADO Solutions.
Since arriving at Queen’s, Matt has been involved with a variety of extra-curricular activities that have sparked his interest in finance. During the summer of 2011, Matt had the unique opportunity of interning at Predictive Success, a management consulting firm focused on maximizing returns on human capital. Matt’s true passion, however, lies along a more finance oriented career path. In 2012, he interned at CPPIB as a Portfolio Analyst within the long-short Financial Institutions portfolio. Over the summer of 2013, Matt is looking forward to interning as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division in New York. Along with career aspirations, Matt is pleased to have gained international exposure during his academic exchange at ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain during the fall term of 2012.
