Eric was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario where he attended York Mills Collegiate Institute. In addition, he completed two international study programs at the National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) and Tam Kang University in the summers of 2005 and 2008, respectively. This background led Eric to develop an appreciation for different perspectives, which is a mindset that he brought to university.
In 2012, Eric completed an exchange at ESADE in Barcelona, Spain, after previously completing two international study programs in 2005 and 2008.
In 2009, Eric enrolled in the Queen’s Commerce program. Throughout university, he has been very involved with conferences and competitions. In 2010, he competed at DECA, attended the Queen’s Conference on the Business Environment Today (QBET), and worked as a volunteer for the Inter-Collegiate Business Competition (ICBC). In 2011, he attended several conferences and competitions including the Queen’s Commerce Corporate Challenge (Q3C), the Queen’s Non-Profit Gateway (QNP) Consulting for a Cause Case Competition, and the Queen’s Finance Association Conference (QFAC). Further, he served as an executive member for both the Inter-Collegiate Business Competition (ICBC) and DECA Queen’s. he served as an executive member for both the Inter-Collegiate Business Competition (ICBC) and DECA Queen’s. In 2012, Eric completed a semester abroad at the ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain, and worked as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst for Goldman Sachs in New York. Next fall, he will be returning to Goldman Sachs full-time.
In his spare time, Eric enjoys playing basketball and volleyball with friends, running, and dancing hip-hop.
