Cam was born in Brampton and raised in Mississauga. He graduated from Lorne Park Secondary School as an Ontario Scholar. Throughout high school, Cam strived to be an elite level athlete in rowing and Nordic skiing with top three placements in several internationally renowned rowing regattas and as a member of an Ontario Federation for School Athletics Associations (OFSAA) Championship winning team for Nordic skiing.
While at Queen’s, Cam has taken a keen interest in finance and economics. He is specializing in finance and has completed a Queen’s option in economics. Cam has also been highly involved in several extra-curricular activities including the Queen’s Energy and Commodities Association (QECA) and the Homes of Hope Commerce Outreach. He has also held a part-time job with the AMS TAPS Pub Service which runs the Queen’s Pub and Alfie’s Nightclub since coming to Queen’s. Cam recently completed an academic exchange to Fudan University in Shanghai, China during the winter semester of the 2011-2012 school year. Cam is currently the Chief Investment Officer for the Queen’s University Investment Counsel and was formerly a Portfolio Manager in the Financials sector. Cam will be joining Goldman Sachs as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division in the summer of 2013.
